London Bridge Rail disruptions - Cannon Street line
From August 2016 London Bridge Station will have no services via the Cannon Street trainline. Services will have resumed from the Charing Cross line.
If you are attending an appointment at Guys Hospital and you are travelling via Cannon Street to London Bridge please allow extra time for this disruption.
Further information on travel can be found at www.tfl.gov.uk
Saturday 27 August to Thursday 1 September 2016
No services to Cannon Street. Replacement buses will run New Cross to Charlton via Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill and Westcombe Park. There will be major changes to the Southeastern timetable with fewer trains running on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, meaning these trains will be very busy. Please consider changing your normal journey to work.
Monday 29 August 2016 to January 2018
The following long term changes to Southeastern services will take place as Network Rail carries out the final phase of major track work around London Bridge station:
- Southeastern services to and from Cannon Street will not call at London Bridge when services resume from 2 September;
- Most Southeastern services to and from Charing Cross will resume calling at London Bridge
London Bridge Tube station will remain open throughout. Cannon Street rail and Tube stations, and the Jubilee and Northern lines at London Bridge and Waterloo, will be busier than usual at peak times while passengers take alternative routes.
